Look at the screen as you wake up.
Get in the loop, see what you’ve missed.
It’s become a problem, one we all have.
It started out good, but now it’s so bad.
The phone in the hand. The screen in your face.
We miss out on life, it can be such a disgrace.
We laugh and play off, say everything is fine.
Yet we know its not true, we tell a lie.
We are more concerned with the things on the web.
Should we not pay more heed to the world instead?
We watch it be destroyed, all from our screens.
Trying with all our might, just to be seen.
