Christmas Cheer

Christmas time, Christmas cheer

A time for joy as it draws near.

Yet it’s also one I fear

As the loneliest time of year.

Opening presents, pretending to laugh

Smile in place, How long must it last?

Happiness and joy are given to others

To some by family, some by lovers

Cheer from all within our life

We seek to have little strife.

Yet this time can be hard to bear

When with others, there’s no joy to share.

No smiles, no laughter, silent despair

As you wonder.. How is it fair?

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
