Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

The Beast

A roaring beast within it’s cave

Chaotic destruction is what I crave.

I rant, I rave, when I must go out

Leave me be, I silently shout.

Solitude, a balm for my mind

Piece and quiet I wish to find.

All I seek is alone time

With that I relax, now I’m fine.

Do not come to my abode

Within lies only rage; and dreadful woe.

You come with half-truths; borderline lies

I see through this, and It I fully despise.

I rip the truth unknown from your mind

Your thoughts not yours, now they are mine.

Your senseless platter, unending chatter

Does it even really matter?

No my friend now go away.

I no longer wish to play.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
