I let go today.

Tossed away my pain, my anger

It served no purpose, always leaving me empty

Burned up inside, wondering always why.

It slips away

Peace takes it’s spot

Can love bloom now within my heart?

Perhaps. If I still do my part.

The darkness, must be kept at bay

An easy victim to it am I. Far to quick to change.

Stay on the path, do my part

I no longer am alone, here in the dark.
