Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Food For Thought

Living in a barren waste

Life is a struggle, a dead disgrace

A dream is born now chased

Oh what a dreamers race.

Mechanical Mayhem drives the world

Click clack buzz whir

I’d rather not thank you sir.

Lead me away from these metal beasts

Into the wild places, there I’ll feast.

Give me trees, give me flowers

Give me booming thunder and sudden showers.

Let me feel, let me breathe

Far away from chaotic machines.

Here I’m numb. I’m struck dumb

I have to join in, stick up my thumb.

I don’t like it. I don’t want it.

Let me leave and be me.

Among the wild places, with the green things

Here I’ll dance. Here I’ll sing.

And everything in between.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
