Oh to see the land with newborn eyes
To gaze upon mysteries of every size.
To view the world with wonder and awe
To see the majesty in all.
The sun, as it rises, paint pictures of grace
Dazzling brilliance, in its journey this day.
The sky, tinged with pink, fading to blue
Clouds glowing in every hue.
The mountains are ringed with fires of light
Can one describe a more wondrous sight?
Perhaps the stillness within a forest
Surrounded by the ancient trees,
We sing, we dance, playing among their leaves.
All the while the sunbeams play across our forms
And as it sets, we do not mourn.
For the colors are back, painting the sky
As it fades ever towards black, and never still dies.
The world is beautiful, a treasure for all
Hold it, cherish it, never let it fall.
