Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Food For Thought

Struggle to stay afloat

Water is filling the boat

Can you bail it out fast enough?

Or is it far too much?

Prices go up. Pay stays the same

Everyone looks for where to place the blame.

Government plays its silly games.

Isn’t it just a horrid game?

Barely able to afford food, working sixty hours a week

Starving for a break, but that’s something we cannot take.

Gas is too much. It drives one broke

Hangs us like a gilded rope.

We balance on the edge of despair

Those in power do not care.

When is the point where we’ve had enough

Tiring of things getting oh so tough.

When is the point we take a stand

Come up with a simple plan.

Work together grow our food.

Ride share if we can, we are not fools

We will not be used. Will not be destroyed.

Will not be seen as pawns or toys.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
