A single strand thinner than silk
Stretches onward unseen.
It touches you, it touches me
And all that lies in between.
A tug here a whisper there
All along its length feel.
Unseen yet always felt
Its a mystery few can hear.
The web flows and winds its path
From person to person
To animals or rock.
None are left behind none are ignored
For we are the strands flock.
Every breathe we take
Every choice we make
They branch across the strand
Like ripples in a pool of water
Spreading, connecting, making waves.
As the unseen truth stands firm.
We are one. Never alone.
