You reap what you sow
A truth few seem to know
It will someday show
And then where shall you go?
Anger and hate, trickery and lies
These things are sown with abandon
It’s a bitter truth i despise.
The results should come as no surprise.
They blossom and bloom
Cared for by the world
They sow more seeds
Create more distrust
Will it ever end? Surely it must.
Chaos and strife
They become daily life
Everyone backers and fights
On the blackest of nights.
The world burns In a hidden fire
As we fuel our darkest desire
We know it not but we’ve built our own funeral pyre.
Is this what the goal was all along?
Something needs to give
It all needs to change
We simply can’t play, the same old game.
We have to be different if we wish to live.
Instead of anger, plant peace
Instead of hate, try love
Instead of trickery and deciet
Truth can’t be beat.
These things grow and multiply so fast
We should give them a shot
Before we lose our only chance.
For we reap what we sow
Whether it be love or hate
So why not be a better person
Before it’s too late.
