Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

StarLight

Dark blanket brimming with life

The blazing, shining, shimmering light.

It comforts me on such a night

Those glittering jewels we call starlight.

They watch me from above the realm

Ever guiding, they point the way

Down the paths one barely treads

Without a shiver of unease and dread.

Through the mist filled paths of dead

They glimmer on above my head.

They watch me still and guide the way

Ever keeping darkness at bay.

I whisper to them my secrets and prayers

Tell them of my torments and despair.

I like to think those fiery lights care

About the soul that’s been laid bare.

They do not judge, they do not revile

They whisper comfort, say stay awhile.

I long to stay and gaze upon them forever

Away from the world and it’s hellish woes

That would surely be a wortht goal

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
