Filled with anguish, with senseless rage.

I am one left alone in the dark

One you fear and hate with all your heart.

I am the monster under your bed

Yet I am always within your head.

I am the devourer of countless dreams

Loved yet feared, all emotions in between.

I am the darkness you keep inside

The true self you try so desperately to hide.

I am you. And you are me.

We are one and the same. So let me free.
