Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Unfair Urges

Buy this, buy that

Flirt here, flirt there

Showing not a care.

Spend your money on foolish things

Run your mouth see what it brings.

It calls to ruin, brings it near

Your blinded by your greed, your fear.

Every where you look

People buy and want in excess

There is no rhyme no reason Here

Nothing at all is clear.

There is no success

Not when your urges run the show

Your money and time flow away

Down the river of fools they go.

Controlling the urges, its easy to say

But it’s not all it’s cracked up to be

Try it yourself and you’ll surely see.

A slip here, a backslide there

You squall outloud its not fair.

They nobody ever cares

That they are never there.

Yet look around what do you see?

An bottomless pit of despair?

A chaotic mess that is unfair?

No. A simple mess your urges made

And no other shall share that Blame.

For they tire of the games.
