Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Nothing I Love

There is nothing I love more than being a fool

Being tricked and deceived, made to look like one too.

It’s really a great feeling, I have to say thank you

For never again shall I be a fool.

I fell for the pleas

The starry eyed looks .

It didn’t take much, yet now my world is shook.

I should have thought carefully, took a second look.

Instead I let you draw me in, a fish on the hook.

In the end I learned my lesson

The beatings made it clear

To stay away, and never draw near.

To never again be considered a fool

For now it’s true, I’m over you.
