Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Twilight Falls

Twilight falls across the land

Shadows lengthen, as I take your hand.

We wander through the darkening world

Shared wonder in our eyes

We turn our gaze towards the sky

And witness a stunning surprise.

A shooting star passes by

It’s tail stretching towards eternity

As together we wonder where they would be.

We say little, it’s not needed

The feelings flow, the moment is heated

Its fleeting yet seems to flow on forever

The moment fades, the darkness consumes

I awake within my room.

Tears leak from my eyes

A cruel trick I surmise

For in my memory, your still Here

In my dreams, my deepest fear

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
