Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Slow Down

Take a breath, step back and wait

To rush forward will seal your fate.

You’ll move too quickly, realize too late

You read the signs, observe what comes

Trying to discern what has now begun

Before the chaos, the pain, such fun

Before your left feeling quite dumb.

Why be in a hurry to rush here and there

What comes quickly goes just as fast

Really, when do easy gains ever last.

Slow and steady will win the race

As you travel on, at a turtles pace.

Do so with a smile on you face

For eventually all will fall into place.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
