Life is full of ups and downs
It seems to drag one to the ground.
Surrounded by darkness
Away from the light,
Seems to be noend to the plight.
But that’s the thing about the darkest day
It can never keep the light at bay.
The silver lining shines on
It will return, it’s never truly gone.
Fortune is fickle but she can turn around
And bring you up as quickly as you’ve gone down.
Never give up, never give in
Fight on to the bitter end.
You have your hopes
You have your dreams
The reality lives in between
