Adrift in the land of dreams
Stuck in the world in between.
What does it all even mean?
As we wander this world unseen.
Chaos runs rampant,
The world falls apart.
Everyone acts as if they have mo heart.
As if they are alone in the world
Can’t they live in harmony?
Can’t they see the destruction they cause?
The pain and suffering their actions bring about
They are blind to the reality, deaf to the pain filled shouts.
Someday they will see it all,
As towards destruction they fall.
Then the power that held them in thrall
Shall buckle and crumble, abandon them at the end
Only then will they see
The pain of others. Of you, and of me.
