Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Golden Day, Gray Inside.

Golden sun high in the sky

Gives the feeling that all is fine.

Yet in the shadows we find that’s not true.

All is fine? Oh what a lie.

Hide the pain, fake a smile

Laugh and joke, dying all the while.

The wrong thing said, the wrong tone used

And back to stone do we turn

Though painful does the shame now burn

At the things we were taught, the tricks we’ve learned.

Shutting down, sliding away

Here on body, yet gone in mind

Able to pretend all is fine.

But now hollow inside, locked away in a vault

Withdrawn to solitude to escape the words

Things we wish to have never heard.

All in an instant the world goes gray

Even as over head the sun still shines on a golden day.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
