Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Cost of Life

Hurry, hurry, don’t be late
Sometimes it may seal your fate.
Dashing here and there
Rushing who knows where
Without a single care.

No time to stop, no time to think
Gods i wish for a rest, perhaps a drink
Or maybe even a trip to a shrink
What i wouldnt give for that.

The pressure is on, lifes on a roll
It keeps you pressing on, towards that goal
But what is it? Do you even know?

Too late, your here. What a surprise
The goal is met, yet your empty inside.

You spent so long trying to make ends meet
You lost the joys of life along the way
The happiness that comes from play
The cheer of resting just for a day.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
