One Day

One day we will dance again

I’ll spin you in my arms

One day we shall laugh together

From twilight until dawn.

Take my hand my dearest muse

As we explore the heavens.

On wings of shimmering shadows

We fly across the veil.

Touch the moon, circle the stars

In wonder we shall soar

Across the realms of mystery

We return no more.
