Where Poems Fly, Through Starry Skies.

Blackouts

Flickering lights

Oh no, it causes fright

For many cannot stand

The blackouts at hand.

They can’t function without TV

Beg and cry, whine and plead

For a single bar of signal

A sign the wifi is on

For without the power, what can they do?

They’ve forgotten how to live

They don’t know how to survive

For many it would kill them

To wander off outside.

They need to stay plugged in

The blackouts a bane

And it brings a panic, a pain

It’s really, such a shame.

About Me

A Simple man who dreams of being an Author one day. A lover of poems and stories of all types. A dreamer and a tale weaver in my spare time. What little I have as a father of three. Come sit by the fire, and let me spin my tales, let me speak my rhymes, and show you, a quite good time.
